Health Camp

A free health camp was hosted on Sunday October 20, 2013 at Shantaben Vidhyabhava. This health camp’s efforts were focused on women and children suffering from skin related complications. Goals of this health camp included, providing free medical service and consultation to villagers in order to increase awareness of basic health and hygiene, and prescribing the appropriate medications, vitamins, antibiotics, treatments, etc. necessary to treat and prevent disease. The health camp was organized in collaboration with Gram Seva Trust Hospital. Both organizations were once again thrilled with the turnout the health camp received.

General Health Camp

Shantaben Vidhyabhavan, in association with Shri Satya Sai Seva Samiti, Valsad and Anavil Samaj, Mumbai organized a health camp on January 27, 2013.  The objective of this camp was to perform health checkups to all families in the villages. Fourteen doctors with specialization in cardiology, pediatrics, eye, nose and throat, skin and general surgery came from various surrounding cities and participated in this camp.

Children's Physical Checkup

Shantaben Vidhyabhavan, in collaboration with The Gram Seva Trust-Kharel, conducted a health camp for children.  Dr. Hiral Dave and Dr. Sharmishta Patil, Deputy Director of The Children’s Project of Gram Seva, performed full physical checkups on the children. The children were provided with appropriate medication free of charge.  The parents were provided appropriate guidance and records to take home.
